How to Enter
1. Tweet a photo of your Yakima Valley wine tasting experience
2. Mention your location (winery, restaurant, tasting room, etc.)
3. Use the hashtag: #Yakimawine
Contest Period
The “Sip & Click” Twitter Photo Contest runs Friday February 17 - Monday February 20, 2012. All eligible entries must be received during the contest period. Any entry deemed inappropriate for publication by Wine Yakima Valley (WYV) staff and Board will be disqualified.
Prizes
1st $100 Gift Certificate to Ummelina Spa in Yakima
2nd Terra Blanca Estate Tour for Two (value $100)
3rd Winemaker for a day - Two Mtn Winery
4th Wilridge Vineyard tour and a Cowiche Canyon hike or mountain bike
Entrants who tweet a photo that adheres to the eligibility requirements and the “How To Enter” requirements will receive one entry into the contest. Entrants may enter as many photos as they like.
Eligibility
This contest is open to everyone who is 21 years or older and to residents of all states and countries. All photos must be original, solely created by the submitting entrant, and must not infringe on any person or entity’s trademark or copyright. Any entry deemed inappropriate for publication by Wine Yakima Valley (WYV) staff or Board will be disqualified.
Judging
Wine Yakima Valley (WYV) staff and Board will decide the winners. You do not need to be present to win. Winning entrants will be contacted via Twitter. Winning entries will be judged on how well they capture the spirit of the Yakima Valley Wine Country, visual appeal, and originality. The decision of WYV Board & Staff will be final.
Legal
By tweeting a photo for entry in the “Sip & Click” Twitter Photo Contest, the entrant grants WYV unlimited usage and unrestricted rights of any photograph submitted for the contest regardless of whether or not it is a winning entry. WYV reserves the right to use the photos in printed or on-line materials and for educational, informational, and promotional purposes without paying compensation to the photographers, or the subjects. Photos used in published materials will be submitted with credit for the photographer unless otherwise requested by the entrant. WYV reserves the right to publish the name of the contest winner.
If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including any causes beyond the control of WYV, they reserve the right to cancel, suspend, alter, or terminate the contest without notice to the entrants and retain all photo entries. WYV will not be held responsible or liable for any injury, death, or otherwise bad fortune suffered during the taking or making of the photo. WYV will never share nor sell any email or physical address information collected via this contest.
