Domanico Cellars is a small family owned and operated winery. We began our adventure in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle (originally in our little bungalow!). A couple of years later in 2009, and with a little growth, the operations moved to a warehouse in Ballard. With a strong desire to take our passion for winemaking and Washington State’s agriculture further, in 2012 we purchased our first, yet established, vineyard in Prosser, WA.  We have strong Eastern Washington roots, growing up in Spokane and living in Yakima for a number of years, so it was decided to pick-up and “move to the farm”. It is great being back and in the heart of the grape growing region of Washington. We are also excited to open our second winery and tasting room on the vineyard! We are extremely dedicated to making great wines from the best Washington vineyards. Some years we may blend, others we may not, but our promise is to always produce the best wines possible based on what the vineyards, grapes and maturing vintages tell us. Oh, and if you talk to our many wonderful volunteers you will know we require that a smile & laugh or two be involved in all phases of the process!

Over the past several years we have sourced fruit from some of the top vineyards in Washington, specifically the Horse Heaven Hills AVA and Yakima Valley AVA. Our first release was in 2008 of our 2006 vintage. In 2012 we purchased Carter Family Farms Vineyard, a well-established vineyard, previously owned and operated by George and Dennis Carter.

The tasting room in Prosser is Open by appointment only in the winter and early spring. Starting in Mid April will be open on Thursday – Sunday from 11 to 5.Stop out for wine tasting and a walk in the vineyard. We have wines by the glass in a relaxing atmosphere.

Directions:  24901 N Crosby Rd, Prosser Wa 99350. Direction from the Hwy is to head north on Gap road to McCready where you will take a right. Stay on that to Crosby road where you will again take a right. We are on the left about 1/4 mile ahead at the bend in the road. Our sign in small so keep a lookout and please park in front of our house. Handicap parking and a small # of spots are also available below the winery.
