Join the wineries of the Yakima Valley as they celebrate harvest during Wine Yakima Valley’s Annual Catch the Crush event, October 12 and 13, 2019. Each winery offers its own celebratory activities including grape stomps, harvest and crush activities, tours, free-run juice, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and of course. . .wine tasting.
Purchase a PREMIER PASS and enjoy exclusive benefits available only during this event weekend. PREMIER PASS holders will be able to experience a variety of specialty Catch the Crush food pairings, library tastings, and tours not available to the public.
Passes are non-refundable.

Wineries can’t provide enough glasses during event weekends so please bring one from home or purchase one at your first stop. And of course, your photo I.D. and a designated driver!

AntoLin Cellars. Catch The Crush at AntoLin Cellars means Premier Pass holders will enjoy a waived tasting fee. Tasting fee also waived with 12-bottle case purchase. Kick off your Catch The Crush weekend right on Friday night with live music: TBA. Music starts at 7pm, No Cover. While you’re tasting Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, have food delivered to your table by Local Purveyors. Hours: Friday 1pm – 9pm, Saturday 12pm – 7pm, Sunday 12pm – 4pm.
Freehand Cellars welcome to Yakima’s newest winery with a spectacular view. Freehand Cellars is located at 420 Windy Point Drive in Wapato, WA., just down the road from Owen Roe and Treveri. Visit during Catch the Crush weekend and enjoy food by Heroes Pizza, live music by Entice the Mice, handmade lawn games, and special wine discounts! Buses are welcome with an appointment made 24 hours prior to the appointment time. Tasting fees are waived with purchase.

Tacos Don Chayo will be joining us Saturday, October 12th, so come hungry and enjoy some delicious tacos with a side of wine! Event tasting fee is $10. Dineen Family Vineyards Open Friday through Sunday 11-5 Catch the Crush Weekend (Oct. 11 through Oct. 13th) and we are offering free tastings of our Kamiakin wines, select wines will be 20% off and Guerra’s wood-fired pizza will be available on Saturday.
Horizon’s Edge Winery: Come enjoy a great weekend away with wonderful wines to sample and tons of fun!! We have a new Batch of Sweet Winter Harvest Orange Muscat Canelli, and a new Intamite Affair Syrah Port@ 25% OH! Come taste a sample. Tasting fee will be waived for Premier Pass holders. You can observe fermenting grapes, and hopefully taste fresh Chardonnay and Muscat Canelli right out of the tank. Winemaker David Padgett will be hard at work harvesting grapes from our 18 acre vineyard.

Maison de Padgett Winery: This will be our last Catch the Crush at Maison de Padgett Winery. We have sold the venue and property but will keep the license alive, we are moving 11-1-2019 to 4530 East Zillah Drive Wa. 98953. We will have 12 wines for you to sample along with possibly a chance to taste our fermenting Gewurztraminer juice from the 2019 harvest. We will be releasing a new Smoking Gun Coffee Port Style, a Chardonnay, and the new Unzipped Semi Sweet Riesling/Chardonnay. We will have all reds 3 for 30.00 and Lip Service 3 for 330.00 this weekend only. Tasting fee will be waived for Premier Pass holders.
Masset Winery will have a “guess the grape” contest with special deals for identifying the grape! Also, release of our new vintages of Barbera, Chardonnay, Viognier and our new Rhône blend G. M. S. Wine club members are invited to pick up the fall wines, or member signup is available if you’re not already.
Paradisos del Sol Winery– We offer a 9-course micro-mini Lilliputian winemaker’s plate. We start off with an exquisite Mushroom Pâté to accompany our dry Rosé Paradiso, a sliver of Brie cheese for the Oyster White, Peanut Sauce marries with the Sève, and Pasta Arti-Pesto with our B’s Blend. Next are our reds—with our Sangiovese we are serving Glondo’s Pepperoni and with Paradisos Red is Glondo’s salami. We finally have our Cabernet Sauvignon back again with our ever-famous Bleu Cheese Dip. And now we are ready for dessert, two of them! With the Zort, we have a sliver of dark chocolate. Last is our Angelica SR. We have a skosh of pumpkin custard (vegan) to go with that. Tasting fee $10 waived with $20 purchase. Premier Pass holders receive 10% off your purchase of 2 or more bottles; 20% to 50% off case purchase. Hours: 11-6. We will have self-guided tours of our vineyard available for free.
Tanjuli Winery will have samples of our Estate grown grapes to taste side by side with our Estate Picpoul Blanc, Estate Carmernere, Estate Nebbiolo, Estate Aglianico, Estate Sagrantino and Estate Black Muscat. Co Dinn Cellars Join us at Co Dinn Cellars in Sunnyside for a relaxed Catch the Crush. This is the perfect time of year to “Catch” some rays on the patio as well! For Premier Pass holders and Wine Club members we will be pouring samples of 2017-2019 Elephant Mountain red wine. See how the wine develops and changes from fermentor through barrel aging and then in the bottle.
Côte Bonneville Be the first to taste the 2019s! We will be pouring Cabernet fermentations for Premier Pass holders and wine club members. Taste through a vertical of finished wines from the same rows in the vineyard to discover how they evolve over time. Open Wed – Sun 10 – 5, private tastings by appointment. Tasting fee required.
Fortuity Cellars Join us at our wine incubator location in Grandview! We’ll showcase wines perfect for the upcoming holiday season as well as give you a sneak peek of the 2019 vintage. Tasting is included with the Premier Pass or the Fortuity Chance Moments Wine Club membership; for all others, we welcome you to join us for a tasting ($10 waived with a bottle purchase). We will be open 11-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.
Yakima Valley Vintners You are invited to a complimentary educational tour of the Teaching Winery. Visitors will be guided on a crush pad, where you will be able to sample grapes and comparative wines. Come taste the award-winning student made wines and receive a 10% discount by the bottle or 20% discount by the case for premier pass holders. The tasting fee is waived for Premier Pass holders.
Prosser Area Wineries
14 Hands Sample our newly released 2017 Vintage Series Red Blend while relaxing in the courtyard. Small bites and wine by the glass will be available for purchase. $7 non-refundable tasting fee includes a complimentary logo glass. Ryan Patrick Wines and Milbrandt Vineyards in Prosser will have live music from 2-5pm with Gabe Knutzen. Tastings are $10 at the door and include a logo wine glass (refunded with a $20 bottle purchase). Premier pass holders will receive a 10% discount on bottle purchases.
Thurston Wolfe will be tasting fermentation products and compare to wine in the bottle. 20% discount on featured wines. Hours 11-5 both days. Premier Pass or $10.00 tasting.
Wit Cellars will be participating in the Wine Maker’s Table offering education on the process of harvest with a tour our barrel room. Enjoy tasting the new fermenting harvest, taste from barrel and the bottle.

Hightower Cellars Tasting Through Time With Hightower Cellars. From fermentation through barrel aging, bottle aging, and long-term cellar aging. Experience a grape’s transformation from a tiny sweet grape to a big, beautiful, age worthy wine. Hightower Cellars will guide you through an exciting sensory experience of grapes, juice and wines of various ages. $20 tasting fee waived for pass holders and Hightower Wine Club Members.
Tapteil Vineyard Winery $15 tasting fee, refundable with a purchase of $30 or more. No buses.
Terra Blanca Winery – Guests will be able to follow the entire winemaking process, starting with tasting grapes picked right off the vines and moving to tasting crushed juice on the crush pad. We’ll guide you through the fermentation process, tasting the juices as they transform into wine. From there we’ll head to the barrel caves where you’ll get to taste wine as it ages. The tour will finish with a seated tasting of the final product out of the bottle. These tours will be free for club members, $5 for Premier Pass holders, and $20 for non-pass holders. Tours will be available on Saturday at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. There will also be one tour available on Sunday at 1pm. If you would like a specific time, please contact us to RSVP!
