Reserve your seat at Winemakers’ Table during Spring Barrel Tasting

Yakima Valley’s newest event offers an intimate tasting with your favorite winemaker.  Enjoy an exclusive vertical tasting of library wines, current vintages and barrel samples from your favorite winery during Spring Barrel Tasting, April 28, 29, 2018.

This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy Yakima Valley’s Spring Barrel Tasting festivities without the crowds. Eight winemakers are opening their tasting rooms exclusively to Winemaker’s Table guests showcasing a vertical of their best wines.  Learn the history, nuances, and stories of each wine in an intimate seated tasting.

In addition to these smaller tasting experiences, your Winemaker’s Table ticket will be honored as a Premier Pass for the duration of the event weekend.

Wineries will be holding regular seated tastings and welcome you upon arrival. Feel free to set your itinerary and show up at the top of the hour, or, if you wish to make reservations, please contact the winery directly.

Winemaker’s Table Seating times:
Saturday April 28, 2018: Hourly between 11:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday April 29, 2018: Hourly between 11:00am – 4:00pm
Tickets are limited and will likely sell out.
Weekend tickets $75.00. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Participating wineries:

Co Dinn Cellars – Winemaker and owner Co Dinn will feature a vertical of the Lonesome Spring Ranch GSM 2014-2017 including 2017 barrel samples. Wine Club members welcome at no cost to this experience. If you want to make a reservation, contact Co at 509 840 2314.

Cote Bônneville Winery – Winemaker Kerry Shiels will be showcasing Cote Bônneville Syrah.  The vertical tasting includes barrel sample, a current release and a bottle from the Côte Bonneville wine library.  Wine Club members are welcome to participate at no additional cost. Gilbert Cellars/JB Neufeld Winery – Winemaker Justin Neufeld will be featuring several of his wines at Gilbert Cellars. We will post the wines and the experience shortly. If you want to make a reservation, contact the winery at 509 249 9049 x 2.

J. Bell Cellars

Wildridge Winery – 

Wit Cellars – Head Winemaker Flint Nelson and winemaker Cat Warwick will lead you through a vertical tasting of Wit Cellars Cab Franc.  2017-2016-2015 Cab Franc From Olsen Brothers Vineyard. You get all three years! Taste out of the barrel – two of Wit Cellars newest vintages of Cab Franc from Olsen Brothers Vineyard.  The 2015 vintage will be newly released and sampled. Don’t be surprised if Flint brings out a surprise or two.  In addition to great company, excellent wine, you will enjoy lite bites while you taste.  Tasting will be held in Wit Cellars new barrel room. If you want to make a reservation, contact the winery at 509 786 1311.

Yakima Valley Vintners  – The students at YVC’s Yakima Valley Vintners are going over the wines now. They will select the best wines to showcase to you during this inaugural event. If you want to make a reservation, contact the winery at 509 882 7069.
