Tapteil Winery on this notable Red Mountain site features estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache and Riesling, and breathtaking panoramic views.
From the initial planting of cabernet sauvignon in 1985, Tapteil Vineyard has expanded to 33 acres and provides grapes to some of Washington’s finest wineries. In 1999, a winery was established with the intent of utilizing a portion of these notable grapes for limited production Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
Though Cabernet Sauvignon remains the primary focus, plantings of Rhone varietals began in 2002 and the winery now offers Syrah and Rhone blends, and a dry Riesling.
